POSITION DESCRIPTION

This internship offers an opportunity to work tightly with the Axxis eCommerce Team to provide service and support to our B2C & B2B customers. This internship is dynamic and hands-on and will give the associate in-depth experience in designing eCommerce experiences for B2C & B2B customers. The eCommerce intern will respond to daily requests for eCommerce program maintenance, update customer homepages, design custom landing pages to solve unique customer challenges, and provide research and reports to the sales team. The Company's internship program is intended to provide students the opportunity to practice business skills learned in school while gaining "real-world" experience and provide you with the opportunity to contribute through challenging work.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the setup of all online content and product catalog activities, including, product copy and imagery preparation..
  • Assist with weekly, monthly and quarterly sales reports related to product and site performance using back end data queries and Google Analytics.
  • Work with client to validate the solution
  • Partake in ad-hoc initiates such as site development projects, analysis of product returns, competitive reviews, etc.
  • Assist Customer Service specialist as issues arise.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

  • Position reports directly to the Project Manager.

SKILL SET REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work in a self-directed manner and develop strong working relationships with clients
  • Comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant, hands-on work related experience working in a team environment
  • Desire to learn and grow
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Office (primarily Excel), a must.

EDUCATION + REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidates should be currently enrolled college juniors or seniors.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, MIS, Accounting, Computer Science or other related business fields
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer service background a plus
