Non-Profits Can Also Drive Operational Efficiency With Platforms Like Salesforce.com

There is often a misconception that Salesforce.com is too big or too complex for organizations, especially when it comes down to nonprofits.

The reality is that Salesforce can be the right tool to power your organization as its size and complexity adapts according to your organization needs. You are also able to rest assured that the platform will scale according to your necessities, as Salesforce is flexible, open and has an expansive ecosystem.

Cloud for Good, conducted a research to quantify the positive impact of Salesforce. It identified that 76% of nonprofits felt that the platform made their job easier. They reported that they were being more effective in their fundraising efforts, volunteer performance, and the community as whole was being empowered.

These numbers by themselves are remarkable regardless of any organization’s annual revenue, number of employees or service provided. Furthermore, it was found that 96% of nonprofits saw potential to use the platform to drive innovation within their organization.

Axxis Solutions was able to experience first-hand the transformational power of Salesforce in nonprofit organizations like the Learning One to One Foundation, Knight Foundation and Beacon Council. Our team helped them digitize processes, so they could focus on helping the community instead of sorting through paperwork. Salesforce also enabled them to conduct better fundraising campaigns by organizing their donor database and automating marketing efforts.

Nonprofits have a large opportunity to do more to transform their operations with Salesforce. It makes no difference if your organization has less than 5 employees or more than 100, or if your budget is $500K or $100M, choosing the right platform is not a decision that can be made on a whim. Times have changed and nonprofits must enter the Digital Transformation landscape to continue to achieve success. That does not mean consuming technology to replace employees. It is actually the complete opposite – nonprofits must use technology to empower their personnel.
